For one of my university modules I embarked on the project of developing the brand design for my own clothing company. To keep things narrow I decided I would only design a collection of T-shirts.
'Baiser' is a French noun for "kiss." If used as a verb, baiser takes on a vulgar meaning, as it is slang for sex; equivalent to the English "fuck" or "screw." I used this to reflect the ambiguity of youth: which can be both innocent and sensual. My target market is young people who have a keen interest in art. The trade mark colours used are white (innocence), black (sensuality), blue and red (a nod to the union jack, as the brand would have been stablished in the UK).
I also put together an advert for the company. The challenge was to make one using only stock videos, as I made it during lockdown. Find it at the bottom of the page.
